About This Blog

This class blog belongs to a small group of Year 7 students at a specialist school in England. It began as part of a learning project called Tomorrow’s World, where pupils explored ideas about growth, change, and the skills they need for the future. The project has since grown into a weekly blog where students share their learning and experiences of school.

Posts are written by individual students, with appropriate adult support, and are signed using initials only. This allows pupils to take ownership of their work while protecting their identity and privacy. No surnames, personal details, photographs of pupils, or identifying information are shared.

The blog is updated weekly during term time and reflects learning across a range of subjects. Entries may include reflections on lessons, creative writing, personal achievements, or thoughts about school life from a Year 7 perspective. All content is reviewed before publication to ensure it is safe, respectful, and appropriate for a public audience.

This blog is not intended as a space for direct interaction with students. Comments are moderated and are open to parents and carers to support and celebrate learning. The emphasis is on shared learning experiences rather than individual identities.

Above all, the blog provides students with a real audience for their work while supporting the development of confidence, communication skills, and digital literacy in a safe and supportive way.
