What We've Learned This Term

This term, we have done lots of learning. I would like to share with you the things we've learned in all our subjects.

Maths

In maths, so far we've learned about:

• Sequences
• Algebra
• Ordering and comparing numbers

Next we are going to be learning about:

• Four operations

Topic

Topic covers our English, history and geography learning. We have covered two topics so far this year:

• World War Two
• We learned about rationing, bomb shelters, evacuation, important people (like Hitler, Churchill and Chamberlain) and events (like the Blitz, the Dunkirk Evacuations and the Battle of Britain)
• Tomorrow's World
• In this unit, we have been learning about computers and technology, including their history and predicting their future

Art

Before half term, we were learning about British artists past and present. This half term, we're learning about the importance of line in art.

Computing

To start the year, we learned about media messaging and branding in computing. This half term, we have been learning about networks from the past and present. We are also learning to touch type!

MMM

In MMM we have learned about emotional regulation and verbal and non-verbal communication, including conversation skills.
